Graduate Student
I am from Arlington, Texas. I got my bachelor’s degree in chemistry with a minor in mathematics at St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX, on December 15, 2017. During my undergraduate career, I worked under Dr. Gary Morris doing atmospheric modeling of ozone and NOx gases and Dr. Tricia Shepherd doing molecular dynamics simulations of carbon nanotubes. I joined the University of Minnesota in January 2018 and the Goodpaster group in March. My recent research focuses have been on modeling magnetic materials, specifically metal organic frameworks, in Density Functional Theory.
